Nishiki Rock

- Slightly downhill from Kobo no Shimizu, there is a large rock on the left. This rock, called Nishiki Iwa, is a landmark along the road. The slightly reddish color of the rock shows up in various colors when it gets wet from the rain. Across the creek, on the other side of the road, are the ruins of a rice field that has been razed. The hard work of our predecessors who cultivated rice in such a narrow and poorly lit area can be remembered.
