Chikuni Suwa Shrine

- There are ten Suwa shrines enshrined in Otari Village, and this Chikuni Suwa Shrine is said to have been founded as a shrine for the town of Chikuni. The shrine pavilion is surrounded by a shroud and cannot be seen from the outside, but it was built by Toyohachi Asakawa, a shrine carpenter of the Osumi school in Azumino. The annual autumn festival is dedicated to sasara dance, children's sumo wrestling, lion dance, etc.
