shearing yard

Description
It was used as a pasture for horses and as a place to harvest fodder to feed the horses. In the Matsumoto domain, horses were strictly controlled, and those with good hair were loaned to peasants to be carefully bred as stallions. Horses used for farm work were lowered horses with inferior grooming. The view from here is one of the recommended points of the Chikuni Crossing Course.
