Salt Road Takamachi Crossing Course

- The Nagi-Kamauchi ritual, held the year before the Suwa-taisha Onbashira Festival, is the only one of its kind in Japan and takes place at Omiya Suwa Shrine. In the past, the nagi-kama carried from Suwa-taisha Shrine was dedicated to Omiya Suwa Shrine and struck the sacred tree on the Shinetsu border by walking over Takamachi. This course is reminiscent of the atmosphere of Suwa faith.
